About Me

I grew up in Story County and moved to the Des Moines metro in 1982 to attend Drake University. I graduated from Drake in 1986 with a BS in Business Administration, with majors in Accounting and Computer Information Systems.

I then spent 20 years in the corporate world, starting in public accouting at KPMG Peat Marwick, and culminating as Controller at Dice Career Solutions - a world-wide leader in tech recruiting.

In 2007 I left that world to build a real estate business. Obviously the market was tough and getting tougher throughout my early time in real estate, but it was a great time to learn how to do the hard work required to be a great Realtor. And recentt years have been much more fun!
